Mappings
In addition to our growing collection of youth policy fact sheets, we currently have five mappings online:
MAPPING NATIONAL YOUTH POLICIES
https://www.youthpolicy.org/nationalyouthpolicies/
We maintain the most extensive and current overview of national youth policies for all ~200 states at youthpolicy.org/nationalyouthpolicies. Additionally, we publish an annual state of youth policy report – the 2013 report on the state of youth policy is here.
MAPPING THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH SECTOR
https://www.youthpolicy.org/mappings/internationalyouthsector/
This mapping contains a directory of the international youth sector. It includes information about the different categories of actors engaged in the sector at the global level, the relationships between them, and the many different forms of institutionalized cooperation through which youth policies at the international level are developed. The mapping also describes the institutionalized processes of cooperation that determine the way in which youth policies are debated and decided upon at the international level.
MAPPING THE YOUTH SCENES IN DIFFERENT REGIONS OF THE WORLD
https://www.youthpolicy.org/mappings/regionalyouthscenes/
This mapping describes the youth scenes in several regions of the world: Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East and North Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean. For each region treated, we provide some basic facts about youth in the region, and present information about the main actors in the youth field, their interaction within the region and across regions, as well as different mechanisms of youth policy cooperation they are engaged in.
MAPPING THE DONOR ENGAGEMENT WITH & IN THE YOUTH SECTOR
https://www.youthpolicy.org/mappings/donors/
This mapping offers an in-depth overview of the most important characteristics of donor engagement with the international youth sector and the youth sectors of different regions. It summarises the activities of members of the donor community active in the international youth sector and presents some ideas about how funding the international youth sector works in practice. It also provides information about both grant-making and operational programs that support young people’s initiatives.
MAPPING YOUTH FUNDING IN DIFFERENT REGIONS OF THE WORLD
https://www.youthpolicy.org/mappings/regionalyouthfunding/
This mapping provides information on youth funding in several regions of the world: Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean. Each regional presentation includes information about the main institutions and organizations that provide financial support to actors in the youth field, including international and regional organizations with operational or grant-making programs for young people’s initiatives and organizations providing funding for youth projects.
