Abstract
The World Youth Congress (WYC) is a biennial gathering of young activists from all over the world who are focused on expanding the role of youth in sustainable development. It is run by Peace Child International. All conferences discuss one main question: “What is the most effective role that youth can play in development?” Since 1999, Congresses have taken place in: Hawaii - 1999 Morocco - 2003 Scotland - 2005 Quebec City, Canada - 2008, Turkey - 2010 Rio de Jeneiro, Brazil - 2012
