South African Youth Council: Towards a Coordinated and Integrated Youth Development

This document describes the foundation of the South African Youth Council (SAYC), including its history, membership and governance structures. It also covers the issue areas prioritised by SAYC such as HIV/AIDS, economic development and youth mainstreaming, as well as its target youth populations (ex. unemployed youth, youth living with disabilities), its programme focus areas and its partners and arenas at which it represents youth.
