Malaysia - Youth Policy and Programmes

Within the framework of its programme of Participation in the Activities of Member States Unesco signed an agreement with the Government of Malaysia in April 1967, concerning a mission by a Unesco-consultant to advise the Government on developing the country's youth policy and programmes. The mission was expected to assess: - the general policy of the Youth Division in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports within the context of socio-economic and employment problems - the organization at the national level, state level and district level - the curricula and the functioning of the recently established Training Centre for Youth Leaders
